Devereux Retinue was set up by Sean Devereux, after he left his original group. The group has been going since 2004 with our numbers increasing all the time. We try to re-create to the best of our ability various periods in medieval history, but primarily The War of The Roses.

To do this we go around the country either putting on shows or joining other group’s shows where we set up a living history encampment  with equipment from our particular historical period.

The group currently contains knights, archers, men at arms and camp followers – who primarily cook, mend, clean, play instruments, carry flags and water for the knights.
